COMPILATION: KINGDOM HEARTS: CLOTI RELATIONSHIP

In Kingdom Hearts Cloud was searching for his light, which is later to be known in Kingdom Hearts 2 that it is Tifa. He is also searching to beat the darkness, Sephiroth. Tifa on the other hand is also looking for someone who is made obvious that is Cloud. Tifa wants to help Cloud defeat the darkness in him. After you defeat Sephiroth everything is explained when Cloud goes to settle things with him. Sephiroth tries to make Cloud surrender to the darkness telling him that he would never let go of the past or the darkness. But during their battle Tifa appears. She tries to help Cloud even though Cloud doesn't want her to get hurt. He states, "Tifa! Stay back!" when she appears. But she refuses because she wants to help him. Sephiroth on the other hand was still trying to convince Cloud that he would never let go of the darkness and that he would always be there. But Tifa says that he doesn't have to let go of the darkness because he just needs someone to shelter him from the darkness with light. She states that here, "He doesn't have to. He just needs someone to surround him with light." She tells Sephiroth that the darkness will always be there, but he wouldn't be able to reach it. She states this here, "The darkness will be there, Sephiroth--- but in a place you can't reach." As a response Sephiroth attacks Tifa and Tifa attacks back, but neither of them could inflict a blow. It was as if Cloud needed to decide in order for one to disappear. Cloud was sort of lost when they were fighting, but when Sephiroth was about to attack Tifa and Sora yelled, "Look out!" He went over to protect her. Tifa tells Cloud that he could have her light, but Sephiroth tells him that the light wasn't him. Cloud just responded as if he was confused, but then he began to glow. I think this is showing that Cloud accepted the light and so Sephiroth got worried and tells him to stop and attempts to stop him. After that Cloud begins to glow brighter and it looked as if he was ready to swing his sword. Then suddenly Sephiroth stops and flies up into the sky and Cloud goes after him. They both end up disappearing and no one knew what happened to them. But they knew they were both gone again. Sora asks Tifa what will she do now. Tifa responds that she will keep looking. Sora asks if she has any leads, but Tifa responds by saying, "Don't worry… Light is easy to find." Then she walks away.

During this whole scene it explains that Tifa is Cloud's light. It also gave a hint that Cloud accepted the light when he began to glow and Sephiroth began to get worried as if it was his demise. Their whole relationship in Kingdom Hearts 2 can also relate to Sora. Tifa tells Sora that the light is easy to find and Sora's light is Kairi. So basically Sora's and Kairi's relationship is like Cloud's and Tifa's.
